Slow internet performance affecting some sites
One of our main internet service providers, Daisy Communications, has been experiencing performance issues with a number of their DSL technologies.
A number of customers will be experiencing issues with Internet, Email and download speeds. We have found that download speeds are around 50-60KB/s and in some cases slower.
Daisy communications are aware of the problem and are trying to resolve the problem. They have described the situation as 'serious.'
We are speaking with them on a daily basis and will provide an update as soon as we can. You can also contact them directly on 0870 0606006.

UPDATE: We have been informed that a traffic management policy has been put into place which restricts non-internet business traffic during business hours. Restrictions have been placed on internet downloads, including software updates, and the transfer of files across the internet. This may affect FTP traffic, and such sites as iTunes and YouTube.
We feel that this policy is unacceptable and does not take into consideration the various internet requirements for each business. We are negotiating a removal of this policy for all customers affected.
